I have a large family that is very tech savvy and as a result we purchase our fair share of electronics; laptops, desktops, tablets, phones and etc. As you know quality electronics can get very expensive so any advantage you can get to save money is worth my time.
I was put on to a website: SlickDeals about 8 years ago by a former co-worker. SlickDeals is a large deal sharing community with millions of people regularly using the SlickDeals App or website to discover, share, rate and shop the best deals and coupons for their favorite stores.
I know when electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, eBay and Walmart have 30% off, if Walmart is price matching Amazon, and when Groupon has a great laptop deal. If there’s a deal, coupon, rebate, promo or freebie out there, they have it on the Frontpage.
If you are a patient person who is willing to wait for the right deal you will easily save up 30% or more off purchases. You can setup a free account to log into the website or the app. You can setup alerts for deals you are interested in. For example, I have setup keyword alerts for Dell Inspirion or PlayStation 4 and any deal that gets posted on SlickDeals with those keywords trigger an email to me or push notification to the app on my phone.
SlickDeals is great for more than electronics. Deals on practically anything sold by a retailer is posted on the website; shoes, toys, clothes, furniture and more. If it is sold and there is a deal someone will post the deal on the website.
You should know that the deals expire and sometime may not work so the website has a rating system on deals voted upon by members. The more thumbs up on the deal means it has been used successfully. Happy Shopping.
