My current investing thesis revolves around no-load mutual funds. While I like doing research of individual stock for investment, it can be a bit time consuming. In my 401k, I only have mutual funds and have found picking them and re-balancing with mutual funds to be easier and less time consuming. As such for the past couple weeks I have been researching funds that meet my investing goals that are outside of my 401k. In a few weeks I am going to start rolling into a few funds that give me exposure to dividends and international companies. The big things for me with regards to mutual funds are the fees which should be less than 1% and a low turnover ratio.
